General Terms of Sale – Donations

These General Terms of Sale govern the conditions under which donations are made to ASSOCIAÇÃO MARGAÇA PARA A CONSERVAÇÃO E O RESTAURO CULTURAL, PATRIMONIAL E AMBIENTAL via the website www.heavenisearth.com.

By making a donation, the donor agrees to these terms.

1. Donation Process

Donations can be made via the donation portal on the website. The process is as follows:

  1. Select Amount – The donor chooses a fixed or custom donation amount.

  2. Provide Contact Details – The donor enters their full name, email address, and any optional message.

  3. Payment – Donations are processed through a secure third-party payment provider (e.g., Stripe or PayPal). No financial information is stored on our servers.

  4. Confirmation – A confirmation email is sent to the donor after successful processing.

  5. Receipt – Upon request, a digital receipt can be issued for tax or personal records.

2. Nature of Donations

All contributions made through this platform are considered voluntary donations to support the mission of the Association. Donations are not payments for goods or services and do not result in ownership, rights, or claims to any physical or intellectual property.

3. Use of Donations

Donations are used solely to support the Association’s non-profit objectives, which include but are not limited to:

  • Conservation of natural and cultural heritage at Margaça

  • Restoration of historic and ecological landscapes

  • Development of public programs, education, and community projects

  • Spiritual and aesthetic cultivation of the land

The allocation of funds is at the sole discretion of the Association’s leadership, based on programmatic priorities.

4. No Refund Policy

Once processed, all donations are final and non-refundable, in accordance with Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, which exempts voluntary contributions from refund obligations. Please ensure your intention to donate is sincere and informed.

5. Donor Rights and Data

We treat all donor information with strict confidentiality and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal data will never be sold or shared and is used solely for administrative, communication, or legal purposes related to the donation.

6. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and the applicable regulations of the European Union. Any dispute arising from these terms shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.
